Feeling extremely uninspired.I think this is due to a few things.... mostly the fact that it still hurts to take photo's due to my dumb thumb.....
Finding it increasingly frustrating with my equipment however.... doesn't have the zoom and focus that I want and generally doesn't come up with the goods all round......
*sigh*
I'm going to force myself to be inspired this weekend - need to add more photo's to flikr and find the inspiration within myself again....

inspiration... comes randomly (I carry my SLR almost everywhere now) found some blossom that was lit nicely the other day... out of the blue in a small dark alley (don't ask what I was doing there!)

Yeah, I am going in waves of being inspired and then not. It's funny. I was flicking through the 900 odd shots I took in Italy and just felt there was nothing really 'WOW!' in amongst them. I was telling someone recently that I think I have have become increasingly critical of my own work and my own self imposed expectations have heightened. Can only be a good thing I guess. striving for the next level.
I have no idea what these pics are of though. Guess what the picture is indeed!
I guess there isnt much inspiration to be gained while staring at a dunny roll....
now that you put it like that, Rev, yeah - there isn't... odd, interesting.

As for you pasky - stop being so damn critical!! I would have to agree with your comments, although all designers have this issue with their work - they are only as good as their next job/photo shoot/ design/building etc.
Striving for the perfect shot is a good thing I agree, but when you get the perfect shot - will you notice?!
