No pain no gain

Joined the gym last night - finally did what DT has been asking me to do for months, not sure that his concept of it being a great stress reliever is quite true. I can assure you I wasn't thinking that way when I almost died - 6 times!!

Needless to say I am extremely unfit, which I knew, however I am 8 kilo's heaver than I thought I was (which explains why the clothes are slightly tight - and I'm not even in hibernation mode yet!) which means I'm 10 kilos heaver than I should be - Yikes!!!

Allegedly the pain is good, it means you are actually achieving something...... good luck to that!

as difficult as it is to believe at this point...you will actually look forward to going once you get into it a bit.
resting heart rate target..low 50's..what is it now? dare to guess...maybe mid 70's.
Striding up the stairs...40 minute walks evening AND morning...whoo.hooooo!!

Dear anonymous, I have been waiting for 30 years to get to the point of looking forward to exercise - how much longer do I have to wait?????????????

went to the gym again last night.... this time it only took me 50 minutes to do something that should take me half an hour!

Maybe its the shoes? The right shoes can make all the difference...poise..grace...image..

The right shoe to cause all of those things would be a shoe in my mouth to keep me quiet!!! I have lots of high heels for that cause... the shoes are great, it's just the fat person putting her feet into them that's the problem!
